Meet Dr. Ama Serwaah Boateng.
Dr. Ama Serwaah Boateng serves as Chief of Medical Staff at Atasemanso Hospital. A graduate of the University of Cape Coast Medical School, she previously worked at 37 Military Hospital, KNUST Hospital and Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. She has more than 15 years of medical experience and has served at Atasemanso Hospital for 13 years and counting.
She combines medical consultations with coordination of the hospital’s medical team, supporting clinical standards, communication between departments and continuity of care.
Her work connects the consultation room with the wider team: nursing colleagues, diagnostic services and the clinicians involved in a patient’s treatment. She helps organise investigations, treatment and follow-up so that patients and families understand the next steps in their care.
Working alongside Dr. John Boateng, she brings her own experience to the hospital’s founding commitment to personal attention and compassionate care. As Chief of Medical Staff, she helps carry that commitment into the hospital’s next chapter.
