Book with the hospital.
Know what comes next.

Choose a check-in time for a hospital visit or contact reception to arrange a virtual consultation. Visiting specialists are arranged separately.

For in-person visits, your check-in time begins preparation for care. It is not a guaranteed time to enter the doctor’s room.

Need urgent care?

Come to the main hospital or call a hospital urgent care number. Do not wait for an online booking or payment.

Before you choose a time

Your check-in.
Your preparation. Your care.

  1. Choose your check-in timeUse the hospital calendar to request an available arrival slot. Check your email for the booking status. If a request is marked pending, wait for confirmation before travelling.
  2. Show your confirmation at receptionBring the booking reference or confirmation, your receipt if already paid, and your hospital card if you have one. Telephone bookings are also verified at reception.
  3. Complete vitals and samplesThe clinical team directs your preparation. FBC needs a blood sample; urinalysis needs a urine sample. Allow time for processing and results.
  4. See the doctor on dutyEmergencies take priority. Patients who arrived earlier and have completed their preparation may be seen first. A booking does not guarantee a particular doctor, immediate service or a fixed finishing time.
Plan enough time for your visit.

Routine sample preparation must fit laboratory hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; Saturday, 8am–3pm; Sunday, closed. Contact reception before choosing a late arrival or a visit needing different arrangements.

Virtual care · By arrangement

Arrange your video consultation.

Call reception to arrange a consultation with an available hospital doctor. This service is for non-emergency care.

Virtual consultation: GH₵200

The routine in-person FBC and urinalysis package is not automatically added. Any recommended tests or other services are charged separately and explained before they are provided.

  1. Contact reception

Call 032 202 6251 with your preferred time and a callback number. Online virtual booking is not yet available.

  2. Confirm the arrangements

The team confirms doctor availability, your session time, payment instructions and the video method. Wait for the hospital’s confirmation before relying on a session being booked.

  3. Prepare for your consultation

Follow the hospital’s confirmed payment and joining instructions. Use the agreed video link or contact method and be ready at the confirmed time.

Before your video consultation
  • Use a private room, a charged phone or computer, and a reliable internet connection. Test your microphone and camera before the session.
  • Keep your confirmation and callback number ready. The clinical team confirms identity, current location and consent when the consultation begins.
  • The doctor may recommend tests or an in-person examination. Remote care cannot replace every physical assessment.
  • If your condition becomes urgent, seek in-person urgent care rather than waiting for a video call. If the connection fails, contact reception to arrange a callback or another suitable time.
